So far in the book the compound where the main character is from is surrounded by Chinese soldiers. Because of little communication and people, the camps surrendered and was taken over by the chinese(Up to pg.30). Yes I enjoy the book but at times it can be boring.

by Elizabeth Gilbert
Elizabeth talks about where her life went wrong, her unhappy marriage and the fact that she doesn't want to have a baby, even though people are pressuring her to feel like needs to.

Memoir: A Long Way Gone
by Ismaeh Beah
This book is about a boy soldier who witnesses war. The author of this book is Ishmael Beah. He was a boy soldier, and a survivor of this war. When reading this book, we can feel the situation and mindset the people go through. It shows how the whole surrounding changed from calm to a panicking situation. We can feel the fear in the minds of people, and this feeling makes this book interesting.

by Kurt Vonnegut
Absurdist classic that follows a man who becomes unstuck in time after he is abducted by aliens.
